Dorr Business Management Systems has been operating in South Florida since 1999.
We serve private, non-profit and government clients. Notable clients include the State of Florida Department of Children and Families, the Miami-Dade County Homeless Trust, Chapman Partnership and Yeager Sherburne CPA LLC.
During our time in operation, the DBMS name has become synonymous with quality and integrity. We realize that our clients' time is their most valuable asset. We strive to maximize the value of that time through increased productivity. This is done in part through improvements in technology, but we take it a step further and make sure our clients are informed throughout the work process with effective communications.
The president of DBMS is Mark Dorr. Mr. Dorr has been providing technology solutions to South Florida businesses since 1992. He graduated with a B.A. from Vanderbilt University and earned both an M.S. and an M.B.A. from the University of Miami, where he continues to be an avid supporter of Hurricane athletics.
Mr. Dorr was a corporate sales representative for Inacom Information Systems in Hollywood, Florida where he was distinguished as being one of the top sales associates nationally as a member of Inacom Information Systems Circle of Excellence. Prior to founding DBMS, Mr. Dorr worked as MIS Director for Chapman Partnership in Miami; a homeless assistance center considered a national model by the Department of Housing and Urban Development.
Mr. Dorr continues to support Chapman Partnership in a network and database administration role. In addition, he works with multiple private clients to ensure the security and stability of their IT operations.
